About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Bupa - Care Homes. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to our residents, inspiring and developing them to live their best lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Day-to-day responsibility for running a unit, ensuring seamless care delivery and resident satisfaction.
  • Supporting with clinical duties, including observing, issuing medication, reviewing care plans, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Driving and managing a team of Care Assistants, including responsibility for shift handovers and training new staff members.
  • Building relationships with residents, their families, and external teams, such as GPs and District Nurses.
  • Assisting residents with personal care duties and promoting independence.
