Your Role:

As a key member of Oxa, you will spearhead the establishment and leadership of a vehicle commissioning team dedicated to supporting our rapid expansion in customer deployments worldwide. Collaborating closely with internal teams and engineering partners, you will ensure that customer vehicles undergo thorough commissioning through established processes while identifying and implementing innovative methods to meet the demands of our swiftly evolving technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the commissioning phase of vehicle delivery for both internal and external clients.
  • Maintaining up-to-date reporting and communication regarding the status of vehicle commissioning.
  • Coordinating the planning and global logistics of vehicle commissioning, including resource management and recruitment as necessary.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives within the commissioning process.
  • Collaborating with the Reference Platform team to understand and execute hardware and network configurations as needed.
  • Working alongside the Fleet Readiness team to utilize and provide feedback on their commissioning and calibration tools.
  • Partnering with the Fleet and Solutions teams to ensure vehicles are prepared for customer operations.
  • Fostering a collaborative environment by engaging with team members and colleagues across the organization.
  • Contributing to recruitment and onboarding efforts by defining role responsibilities, leading interviews, and mentoring new team members.

Qualifications:

Essential Skills:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related discipline (e.g., Engineering, Physics, Mathematics).
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience in industry or academia.
  • Experience in the operational deployment of robotic systems.
  • Adaptability and responsiveness to customer needs, including potential travel to customer sites.
  • Proven track record of leading and delivering projects within a team environment.
  • Strong technical communication and leadership abilities.
  • Understanding of robotics and generative AI technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience leading teams in autonomous vehicle commissioning.
  • Experience in organizing global outsourcing capabilities.
  • Experience in developing calibration tools.
