Key Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality welding operations on pipes in various positions.
  • Apply knowledge of metallurgy, geometry, and welding techniques to determine the required equipment and welding method.
  • Read, understand, and interpret project ITP documents and drawings to plan layout and procedures.
  • Assist in lifting, positioning, and securing of pipes and spools during assembly.
  • Observe and comply with all safety and project rules.
  • Ability to guide trainee welders may be requested.
  • Perform other duties as requested.

Requirements

  • Experience in welding TIG and MMA.
  • Knowledge of materials, including carbon steel, stainless steel, and chrome.
  • Ability to work with pipes of various sizes, from half inch to 18 inches.
  • Strong understanding of fabrication risks and ability to bring them to the attention of supervisors.
