Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fundraising and Communications Manager to join our Senior Leadership Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy, managing our donor relationships, and overseeing our internal and external communications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a strategic fundraising plan to ensure the charity's income supports our growth and development in line with our 2030 Strategy.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with donors, stakeholders, and partners to secure funding and support for our programmes.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of our internal and external communications strategy, including social media, email marketing, and press releases.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure a cohesive and effective approach to fundraising and communications.
  • Work closely with the local community and a wide range of local partners and donors to promote our work and secure funding.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in fundraising and communications, with a track record of success in securing funding and managing donor relationships.
  • Excellent planning, organisational, and people skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
