About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Academic Public Health Specialist to join our team at the Centre for Public Health in the Bristol Medical School, Department of Population Health Sciences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide teaching and assessment on health improvement aspects for undergraduate MBChB Medicine and MSc in Public Health students.
  • Conduct research in line with the Centre's research strategy, including grant capture and publication in high-quality journals.
  • Support collaborative research with colleagues and contribute to the development of the Centre's research strategy.
Requirements
  • Relevant postgraduate degree (PhD or professional equivalent) in Public Health or a related discipline.
  • Good knowledge and expertise in Public Health, including Addiction, and the ability to teach, assess, and research this discipline.
