Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Financial and Tax Professional to join our team in Coventry. As a key member of our finance department, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the production of annual and half-year reports, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and leading the introduction of new financial standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting
    • Support the production of annual and half-year reports, including making and checking proofing changes.
    • Coordinate notes to accounts preparation and review.
  • Statutory Accounts
    • Prepare statutory accounts for all non-listed UK companies.
    • Prepare dormant company accounts for UK subsidiaries.
  • Tax Compliance
    • Ensure the Group's compliance with 'Making Tax Digital' requirements.
    • Operate short-term and long-term solutions to generate accurate submissions for VAT and other returns.
  • Transfer Pricing
    • Review, develop, and progress global transfer pricing policies and documentation.
    • Liaise with Group tax advisers to ensure compliance with arrangements.
  • Treasury and Banking
    • Support the Group Financial Accountant with complex daily treasury and banking tasks.

Requirements

  • Experience in financial accounting and tax compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and lead projects.
