Description:
We are seeking a skilled Food Service I to join our team at Alberta Health Services. As a Food Service I, you will be responsible for preparing and serving meals to patients and customers in accordance with AHS standards and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare food according to set guidelines and menus
- Package and portion food items
- Serve meals to patients and customers
- Clean and sanitize equipment, dishes, tables, and serving areas
Requirements:
- Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent
- Physically capable to lift food, supplies, and equipment up to 46lbs
- Ability to push/pull meal carts up to 250lbs
- Ability to walk and stand on your feet for the duration of your shift
