Position Overview:
We are seeking Quality Assurance Specialists to join our Solution Domain Group and deliver high-quality outputs. Quality Assurance Specialists are tasked with designing and executing tests on software functionality, performance, and usability. They conduct tests (often automated), analyze results, and communicate findings to the development team.

To excel as a Quality Assurance Specialist, you should possess a solid understanding of software and test design, the ability to execute tests, and the capability to analyze outcomes.

Ultimately, the Quality Assurance Specialist should be results-oriented, possess strong communication skills, and maintain current knowledge of software programming and test design. The role requires a passion for delivering exceptional, user-friendly software and a commitment to innovating and continuously enhancing testing methodologies.

You will collaborate within a high-performing Agile team to deliver exciting new products.

Our teams are highly self-organizing, and you will be expected to align with our self-starting, motivated team ethos.

Our products address challenges and unlock data throughout the physical asset lifecycle.

You will work alongside various teams developing our next-generation software products on the Arcadis platform, as well as with teams managing our existing product offerings.

We are rapidly expanding the number and size of our product teams, in which you will play a crucial role.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance Specialists participate in pre-planning and story grooming sessions, adding value in the following areas:

  • Defining testable user stories, including acceptance criteria
  • Assessing the testability of user stories
  • Developing acceptance tests for user stories
Engaging in project and quality risk analyses
During Sprint Planning, Quality Assurance Specialists contribute significantly in the following areas:

  • Drafting regression test cases or converting existing regression test scripts into Gherkin test scripts/features
  • Verifying automated tests using the Automated Test Suite
  • Documenting bugs identified during testing in JIRA
  • Collaborating and providing feedback with the test team via Slack and Confluence
  • Integrating and executing automated tests on a CI server
Conducting testing of new features
During Sprint Testing, Quality Assurance Specialists are involved and add value in the following areas:

  • Testing new or modified features
  • Creating automated regression tests for new and existing features
  • Integrating and executing automated tests on a CI server
  • Providing timely feedback to the team regarding any issues
Updating acceptance tests when new scenarios arise
Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experience in testing iOS mobile applications.
  • Strong understanding of iOS and MacOS systems and principles
  • Proficient in Mobile Automation XCode for simulators and real devices
  • Experience in developing iOS mobile automation test frameworks from scratch using WebDriver IO, Appium, Node.js, and Xcode
  • Ability to write clear, concise, and readable acceptance tests in Cucumber for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Comprehensive knowledge of automation framework concepts and best practices
  • Significant experience working in a Continuous Testing / DevOps environment.
