Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Social Worker to join our Children with Disabilities Team in Newcastle. As a Social Worker, you will play a vital role in assessing the needs of children and their families, and developing personalized support plans to promote their well-being and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of children's needs and develop comprehensive support plans
- Work collaboratively with children, families, and other professionals to deliver high-quality care and support
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of support plans, making adjustments as needed
- Provide expert guidance and advice to families and other stakeholders
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Social Work or a related field
- Experience working with children and families in a social care setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A strong understanding of child development and the needs of children with disabilities
