Job Title: Senior Financial Advisor

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated finance professional to join the NHS Finance Department as a Senior Financial Advisor. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial support and advice to the East Division, helping to deliver the Board's healthcare priorities.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage accounting and business partnering functions to support the East Division.
  • Provide professional financial support, advice, and information to the East Division to enable effective budget management and financial planning.
  • Ensure financial activities and systems are in line with corporate policies and procedures, meeting the highest standards of stewardship and probity.
  • Support the Assistant Chief Finance Officer, Chief Finance Officer, and Divisional Management Teams in performance review and financial issue identification.
Requirements:
  • CCAB qualified or actively studying, with experience in managing a finance team.
  • Awareness of Community and Primary Care services within the NHS.
  • Excellent IT skills, including advanced spreadsheet and database designing skills.
  • Demonstrable ability to work on multiple complex tasks simultaneously and produce high-quality work within tight deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in Welsh and English.
