Position Summary

Lynx Recruitment Ltd is seeking a proficient Test Engineer with expertise in amplifiers to enhance our client's electronics division. The selected individual will be tasked with formulating and executing testing protocols for advanced microwave amplifier systems, ensuring optimal product quality and functionality.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement testing protocols for microwave amplifier systems.
  • Establish and maintain testing setups and environments for amplifier evaluation.
  • Perform comprehensive testing on amplifier prototypes and production models.
  • Evaluate test outcomes and generate detailed reports for design and production teams.
  • Identify and resolve performance issues in amplifiers.
  • Collaborate with RF design engineers to enhance product quality and dependability.
  • Create and sustain test automation scripts to boost operational efficiency.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in testing RF/microwave systems, particularly amplifiers.
  • In-depth knowledge of RF theory and microwave circuitry.
  • Skilled in utilizing testing instruments such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and power meters.
  • Experience with automated testing equipment (ATE) and test software development.
  • Familiarity with industry standards applicable to RF testing.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and proficiency in maintaining precise documentation.
