Strategic Subcontracts Manager

About the Role: Strategic Subcontracts ManagerAs a Strategic Subcontracts Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our supply chain strategy within the Commercial Aviation Solutions business unit. You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of supplier agreements, from pre-award negotiations to contract execution and close-out.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage the subcontract management process, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies.
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans, identifying and evaluating potential suppliers to meet business requirements.
- Negotiate and finalize subcontracts, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for L3Harris Technologies.
- Manage the performance of subcontractors, monitoring their compliance with contractual obligations and addressing any issues promptly.
- Analyze and mitigate risks associated with subcontracting activities, implementing effective risk management strategies.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including engineering, procurement, and program management teams, to ensure seamless integration of subcontracts into overall project plans.
- Proven experience in negotiating and managing complex supplier agreements within the commercial aviation industry.
- Strong understanding of contract law and best practices for subcontracting.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- NCMA certification is a plus.
