Job Title: Lead Strategic Subcontracts

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Strategic Subcontracts professional to join our team in the Commercial Aviation Solutions business.

Job Summary:

The Lead Strategic Subcontracts will be responsible for the total supplier agreement lifecycle for a large and growing business unit within the Commercial Aviation Solutions business. This includes working with stakeholders to identify risk gaps, negotiating and managing supplier agreements, and working with management to establish and conquer strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading and managing the Cradle-to-Grave Subcontract Management process supporting the Commercial Aviation Solutions business.
  • Leading the execution phase of a subcontract: definitize & award the agreement, actively perform change and risk management, monitor the need for REI's, and ensure the close-out subcontracts in a timely manner.
  • Analyzing and summarizing data to provide timely and accurate subcontract status to Management.
  • Initiating risk mitigation strategies related to the performance and pricing of Long Term Strategic Agreements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 9 years of subcontracts/contracts/supply chain related experience, OR Graduate degree with a minimum of 7 years of subcontracts/contracts/supply chain related experience.
  • Significant Experience Negotiating and Managing Supplier Agreements in support of Commercial Customers within the UK.
  • Strong interpersonal and planning skills to lead change through influencing abilities.
  • Strong project management skills.
