This position requires strong analytical and communication skills to ensure that all purchasing activity is contract compliant and undertaken in line with individual commissioning arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and arrange support for individuals as assessed by their key workers.
  • Ensure support is in place within agreed timelines, adhering to team processes and procedures.
  • Negotiate transparent and cost-effective fees for support, ensuring quality is maintained.
  • Manage purchasing processes with providers, ensuring operational services are identified and arranged as needed.
  • Verify the quality of care delivered by potential providers, utilizing reports and information from the CQC and other authorities.
  • Raise and record individual service contracts/purchase orders accurately on Mosaic, and issue them in a timely manner.
  • Consider customers' personal financial situations, including third-party top-up arrangements, and ensure these are transparently and accurately recorded on Mosaic.
  • Account for other funding contributions, such as FNC, in individual service contracts, and ensure these are accurately recorded on Mosaic.
  • Ensure all contractual arrangements are made and authorized in line with the Council's financial authorizations and delegated authority limits.

Requirements:

This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail and be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
