Job Title: ASC Placement Officer
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced ASC Placement Officer to join our team at Spencer Clarke Group. As an ASC Placement Officer, you will be responsible for sourcing and negotiating cost-effective care services that meet individual needs, ensuring compliance with contracts and contributing to the overall quality and efficiency of Adult Social Care provision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sourcing appropriate care services based on individual assessments provided by key workers, ensuring they are cost-effective and high-quality.
- Issuing, updating, and terminating individual service contracts and purchase orders in compliance with council policies and financial regulations.
- Working closely with care management teams to implement changes in individual support plans, ensuring any changes are accurately reflected in contracts.
- Responding to changing demands within the service, managing conflicting priorities and supporting team improvement initiatives.
About You:
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience working in an Adult Social Care or related environment.
- Experience in negotiating fees and terms with care providers within a social care framework.
- Experience managing contracts, purchase orders, and financial contributions within council policy boundaries.
- Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including care providers, care management, and quality assurance teams.
What's on Offer:
Salary: £19+ph
Contract type: 3-6 months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension
Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
