We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to fill the role of Customs Brokerage Administrator within our logistics and parcel service company. The successful candidate will oversee the administrative functions related to customs clearance and shipping documentation, ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of freight and parcels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customs Documentation Management:
    • Prepare and manage import and export documentation in accordance with customs regulations.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    • Ensure shipment details align with regulatory standards and keep relevant departments informed of any regulatory updates.
  • Shipment Coordination:
    • Facilitate communication between carriers, customs brokers, and internal teams to ensure smooth customs clearance processes.
  • Data Management and Record Keeping:
    • Input shipment information accurately into company systems and maintain orderly records.
  • Client Communication:
    • Engage with clients to provide necessary documentation and updates regarding their shipments.
  • Logistics Team Support:
    • Assist the logistics team with administrative tasks, report preparation, and process optimization.
  • Issue Resolution:
    • Identify and address discrepancies to prevent delays and ensure adherence to compliance standards.
Qualifications:
  • Education:
    • High school diploma is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Previous experience in customs brokerage or logistics is advantageous.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent organizational and communication abilities, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Additional Requirements:
    • Ability to pass a background check, flexible availability, and familiarity with customs software is a plus.
