Job Description

Millbank Holdings is seeking an experienced Environmental Sustainability Specialist to join our team in the nuclear industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide environmental management guidance and support to project teams to produce environmental deliverables.
  • Offer technical advice on regulatory compliance, sustainability, and other environmental subjects to project teams.
  • Support the Environmental Manager and Sustainability Lead in identifying and developing sustainability opportunities to contribute to Carbon Net Zero and meet permitting requirements.
  • Contribute to environmental assurance within the project, including assurance reviews and delivery of Environmental Audits.
  • Assist with the development and delivery of land quality assessments to support the Town and Country Planning Application process.
  • Support the Environmental Manager in developing and delivering a program to enhance the environmental culture and awareness within the project.
Requirements:
  • Broad knowledge of environmental management, including land quality assessment, sustainability, and environmental permitting.
  • Specialist knowledge in at least one of these areas.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within a project team.
  • Familiarity with the Environmental Permitting Regulations, including Sellafield's EPR permits.
