Production Operations Supervisor

Position: Manufacturing Operations Manager
Location: Isle of Wight – Cowes
Compensation: Approximately £65,000 based on qualifications and experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the transformation of manufacturing processes to enhance throughput and efficiency.
- Establish multiple assembly lines dedicated to the production and enhancement of equipment cabinets.
- Develop a systems integration area for experimental and third-party systems.
- Improve In-Service support capabilities to achieve world-class standards, ensuring availability across spares, repairs, and major refurbishments.
- Oversee material storage solutions to support manufacturing projects and expand capacity for core radar products while identifying growth opportunities.
- Promote a culture of safety by adhering to all company SHE policies and procedures.
- Coordinate activities among production engineering, logistics, and assembly integration and test (AIT) teams to maximize operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant internal, legislative, regulatory, and contractual requirements for you and your team.
- Provide constructive feedback to team leaders and peers regarding their contributions and performance, taking necessary corrective actions when standards are not met.
Required Skills and Experience:
Essential:
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Proficient in managing a diverse portfolio of complex projects.
- Ability to meet targets effectively.
- Proactive in driving and championing change.
- Background in manufacturing delivery.
Desirable:
- Demonstrated success in scaling a manufacturing business.
- Familiarity with SAP systems.
