We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Compliance to join our team at James Andrews Recruitment Solutions Ltd. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the Association's property compliance, ensuring that all aspects of compliance are met, and providing detailed reports and presentations to the board and senior management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the 'Big 6' areas of compliance, including Fire, LOLER, M+E, Water, Asbestos, and Gas
  • Create reports and presentations for the board and senior management on the status of the Association's property compliance
  • Play an active role in the procurement of a Fire Compartmentation project, including liaising with contractors and analyzing their proposals
  • Procure new contracts across the 'Big 6' areas, ensuring value for money and operating within budget
  • Directly line manage the Administration Operation and Performance Manager, interrogating data and mapping process findings
  • Oversee the vehicle fleet and create a long-term plan to procure and implement Electric vehicles
  • Utilize various systems, including MS Excel and Power BI, to display and analyze data relating to property compliance and asset management
  • Play an active role in the development of an asset management process in light of Awaab's law and HHSRS

Requirements

  • Excellent contract management skills and experience
  • Experience managing property compliance
  • Strong data experience and ability to interrogate and report on asset data
  • Able to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Previous line management experience

What We Offer

  • Hybrid working: one day per week required in the office, including every other Tuesday for a face-to-face meeting with senior management staff
  • Flexible working days

Working Hours

  • 37 hours per week
  • Monday – Friday, flexible start/finish times
