The successful candidate will be responsible for developing comprehensive project plans, coordinating project activities, and ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations. The IT and Business Project Manager will work closely with department heads to secure necessary resources and collaborate with development teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. They will also be responsible for communicating project status, risks, and achievements to executives, sponsors, and team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Coordinate project activities, monitor progress, and adjust plans as needed.
  • Ensure alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.
  • Allocate resources efficiently to maximise productivity.
  • Collaborate with department heads to secure necessary resources.

  • Proactively identify risks to deadlines and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Understand the software development life cycle (SDLC).

  • Handle conflicts professionally and constructively and facilitate resolution when disagreements arise.
  • Maintain a positive team atmosphere while addressing challenges head-on.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and achievements to executives, sponsors, and team members.
  • Present complex information in a clear, concise manner.
  • Advocate for project needs relentlessly and find creative solutions when faced with obstacles.
Requirements
  • Proven experience managing IT projects (enterprise software, infrastructure, or digital transformation).
  • Strong project planning and execution skills.
  • Resilience in the face of challenges.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or other project management certifications.
  • Familiarity with agile and waterfall methodologies.
  • Experience in financial services, healthcare, or other regulated sectors.
  • Stakeholder management skills.
  • Great people skills and ability to see and consider the views of others.
  • Ability to suggest new ideas, with openness and flexibility.
  • Good skills in email and office applications.
  • 5+ years in IT or Business Project Management.
  • A degree and/or experience in a similar role with a similar technology company advantageous.
