Brackenberry Ltd is partnering with a Local Authority to assist in the recruitment of a Strategic Procurement Manager for a temporary engagement with a strong likelihood of extension. The compensation for this role is £405.93 per day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and oversee intricate procurement initiatives at OJEU levels and higher.
  • Manage projects from inception through to contract execution, ensuring both cost efficiency and quality standards are met.
  • Facilitate procurement initiatives across various categories and services within the Council.

Required Qualifications:

  • Possession of CIPS certification or substantial experience in professional or commercial procurement.
  • Proven track record in leading complex procurement projects within the public sector.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of professionals and stakeholders.

Essential Considerations:

  • Immediate availability or the ability to start on short notice is essential.
  • Eligibility to work in the U.K. is required.
