We are seeking a highly skilled Controls Engineer to join our PLF International team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing and supporting our powder filling lines.
Key Responsibilities- Support multiple projects simultaneously, utilizing your programming skills in PLC, HMI, networking, and MES.
- Be the go-to expert for specialist information and knowledge of controls and electronic synchronized drive systems, including servo drives, kinetix, and virtual axis.
- Lead on design and implementation of automation for projects and machinery.
- Collaborate with teams such as sales, engineering, and R&D.
- Occasionally lead projects and provide on-site guidance.
- Be responsible for design, testing, and manufacturing costs on projects.
- Knowledge of motion control implementation and solutions, including Siemens TIA portal and Step 7.
- Experience working with User Requirement Specifications and Functional Design Specifications.
- Ability to generate internal Functional Design Specifications.
- Comfortable with remote work, with travel around 60% of the time.
