Job Description

Job Title: Healthcare Lead

Job Summary:

Nuffield Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Healthcare Lead to join our team. As a key member of our clinical leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strong clinical leadership to the endoscopy service, leading and managing a clinical team, and championing the delivery of the highest quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Champion Patient Safety: Develop and implement strategies to ensure patient safety within the endoscopy service, identifying potential issues and encouraging staff to report safety concerns.
  • Lead and Promote Governance Activity: Champion clinical effectiveness and ensure full compliance with Nuffield Health's Quality governance framework and national standards, including CQC/HIW/HIS/JAG/BSG Regulation, fundamentals of care, professional standards, and evidence-based guidelines.
  • Achieve JAG Accreditation: Work with the Director of Clinical Services to achieve JAG accreditation for the endoscopy service.
  • Provide Clinical Expertise: Provide clinical expertise within the endoscopy area and act as a resource for staff.
  • Lead and Organize Endoscopy Unit Activities: Lead and organize the activities of the endoscopy unit on a day-to-day basis.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Strong clinical leadership and management skills.
  • Experience of working in a clinical leadership role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of quality governance frameworks and national standards.
  • Ability to lead and manage a clinical team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
