Position Summary:

The Metocean Project Coordinator is tasked with overseeing the execution of metocean measurement initiatives for offshore wind projects throughout Europe. With a background in oceanography, marine surveying, or marine operations, you will excel in communication, adapt to shifting schedules, and remain focused on delivering exceptional measurement services to our clients.

The Project Coordinator is responsible for managing a portfolio of projects. Key responsibilities include ensuring the safe, effective, and efficient execution of projects while meeting both internal and client QHSE, technical, commercial, and contractual standards.

The primary objectives are to:

  • Plan, execute, and fulfill contract obligations
  • Prioritize safety in all planning, engineering design, and execution
  • Ensure timely project delivery
  • Identify and manage project opportunities and risks
  • Monitor and control financial aspects of projects to enhance profitability
  • Balance profit maximization with client satisfaction
  • Manage changes throughout the project lifecycle
  • Coordinate the project team
  • Ensure project outcomes align with expectations
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal communications
  • Support metocean measurement operations for up to 30 days annually

Candidate Profile:

  • Proficient in MS 365 applications
  • Able to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects
  • Systematic and detail-oriented approach
  • Experience in commercial marine operations
  • Degree in oceanography, marine science, applied physics, marine engineering, or a related field
  • Demonstrates resilience and adaptability in a dynamic team environment
  • Commercially aware
  • Exhibits a high level of professionalism
  • Fluent in English (spoken, reading, and writing)
  • Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate with clients
  • Possesses a valid driving license and is willing to travel for mobilizations and client meetings
