Business Intelligence Reporting Specialist

Overview:
An exciting opportunity to join a prominent telecommunications organization in a pivotal role as a Business Intelligence Reporting Specialist. In this position, you will serve as the data advocate for our initiatives, utilizing your skills in data extraction, analysis, and reporting to drive project success, enhance collaboration, and support informed decision-making throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
As a vital member of our delivery team, you will:
- Become proficient in extracting data from various sources, ensuring its accuracy and transforming it into insightful reports and dashboards using Power BI.
- Deliver project management reporting on client acquisition, designing and implementing activities across designated sites to meet client, customer, and shareholder objectives.
- Maintain visibility of future work stream profiles by ensuring that forecasting is current and aligns with established standards through monitoring third-party supplier projections.
- Support the achievement of defined capital and operational expenditure targets by applying established standards and policies, while escalating exceptions to facilitate informed business decisions.
- Foster effective working relationships with internal teams and external partners to ensure consistent application of client policies and enhance the likelihood of achieving objectives.
Business Intelligence Focus:
In this role, you will:
- Recognize the significance of validating data, enhancing data quality, and mapping data lineage from source to report.
- Exhibit strong Power BI development capabilities to source, manage, and produce automated dashboards and reports.
- Collaborate closely with the Business Intelligence team to develop, support, and enhance reports and data, providing added value to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrate strong planning and organizational skills to deliver business outcomes effectively.
Qualifications:

- Proven experience in data extraction, manipulation, and interpretation from diverse sources.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Power BI for data analysis and reporting automation.
- A detail-oriented and organized approach to ensure data accuracy and compliance with reporting standards.
