Electrical Design Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at Beeby Anderson Recruitment. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for various projects, ensuring compliance with UK engineering standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop electrical systems, including schematics, elevations, and details, using AutoCAD software.
- Produce and check engineering calculations to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Support the team with primary project checking and reviews, resolving issues to maintain timeframes and quality compliance.
- Coordinate drawings and CAD with other disciplines, demonstrating an understanding of other engineering principles.
- Organize the issue of drafted information, file documents, and maintain a working knowledge of appropriate engineering and industry standards.
- Assist with AutoCAD work when required and demonstrate initiative in the management and progress of design projects.
- Liaise concisely and professionally with external members of the design team and clients on technical subjects.
- Provide technical support to the team and provide accurate and timely project updates.
- Maintain a high standard of probity in professional, personal, and financial matters.
- Maintain good relations with colleagues and external partners.
- Degree or equivalent in electrical engineering.
- 2 years post-graduate experience in electrical building services design.
- High-level working knowledge of CAD.
- Working knowledge of UK design standards.
