Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety, Health and Environment Manager to join our team at Assured Safety Recruitment. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing direction, support, and ownership for all Safety, Health and Wellbeing activities on site, as well as facilitating Environmental management standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage systems and processes with site management to achieve compliance to legislation and internal policies.
- Lead internal and external audits and proactive SHE improvement activities.
- Provide training to operational management teams and oversee employee training processes and records.
- Assist site to meet their health and safety objectives, which form part of the 3-year manufacturing excellence initiative.
- Be a visible presence on the shop floor to promote high standards of compliance and behaviors.
Requirements:
- NEBOSH certificate (or equivalent level) in Safety Management as a minimum.
- Desire to work towards Diploma or equivalent.
- Ideal candidate will have an IEMA 2-day Managing with Environmental Sustainability (or equivalent course) or be on an internal development program to bring them to this level.
