We're thrilled to partner with Cloudsmith, a pioneer in cloud performance optimization. As a key member of their team, you'll play a pivotal role in enhancing their performance testing capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strengthen our capacity to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, ensuring optimal system performance across all our platforms.
  • Apply expertise in black box testing and load testing to guarantee robust and scalable systems.
  • Analyze telemetry data from monitoring platforms to gain deeper insights into operational characteristics.
  • Leverage APM tools to monitor real-time system performance and proactively address potential issues.
  • Develop and implement strategies for system enhancements, focusing on performance improvement and latency reduction.
  • Lead efforts in capacity planning to ensure our infrastructure meets current and future operational demands efficiently.
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and product teams to align performance goals with business objectives and customer needs.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in performance testing and optimization, particularly within cloud environments.
  • Proficiency in Python and Locust for load testing.
  • Ability to work remotely from anywhere on the island of Ireland, with occasional in-person meetings in Belfast.
