About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Redrose Nutraceutical Manufacturing. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of all production and packaging equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement a preventative maintenance program to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on manufacturing equipment, including packing lines, tablet presses, and encapsulation machines.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules, conduct regular inspections, and address issues promptly to prevent breakdowns and ensure smooth operations.
  • Keep thorough maintenance records, generate equipment performance reports, and log repairs and schedules for tracking.
  • Train staff on safe machinery operation and contribute to improving their knowledge and understanding of equipment capabilities.
  • Oversee storage and maintenance of tooling and change parts, recommend replacements when necessary, and maintain meticulous records to optimize efficiency.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and guidelines during maintenance procedures, identify and mitigate potential hazards, maintain SOP adherence, and uphold quality standards through equipment logbooks and prompt response to deviations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field is desirable.
  • 3-5 years of experience in maintenance within manufacturing.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and repairs, with expertise in industrial machine components.
  • High attention to detail, ensuring precision in maintenance activities and documentation.
