Security Officer

Job Summary:
The Security Officer will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the centre and its visitors. This will involve providing a high level of customer service, responding to security incidents, and maintaining a professional and vigilant presence at all times.
Key Responsibilities:- Security and Safety: Ensure the centre is a safe and non-threatening environment for all visitors and tenants.
- Customer Service: Provide a world-class customer-focused service to visitors and tenants, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Incident Management: Respond to and manage security incidents in accordance with company and centre policies and procedures.
- Communication: Liaise with the security controllers and Soft Services Team Leader to ensure effective communication and coordination of security efforts.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of security incidents, centre radio systems, and other relevant information.
- Front Line SIA Licence: Must hold a valid Front Line SIA licence.
- Customer Service Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate clearly and credibly with centre management, senior managers, and all staff.
- Integrity: High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Availability: Must be able to attend work in line with shift pattern through own transport or public transport and have ability to be flexible with shift start and finish times.
44 hours per week – 4 days on 4 days off rota shift pattern. Salary: £12.10ph.
