The Role

As a Laboratory Technician, you will play a crucial role in executing experiments, maintaining detailed records, and ensuring lab tidiness and cleanliness. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting wet-lab experiments, producing, characterizing, and testing material samples
  • Developing and implementing quantitative and qualitative assays
  • Maintaining accurate records of experiments and procedures
  • Maintaining a clean and organized laboratory environment, including waste disposal
  • Working with microbiological procedures, including bacterial culture, aseptic technique, and preparation of reagents, solutions, and culture media
Key Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a biological sciences-related field
  • At least 2 years of laboratory experience
  • Working knowledge of Google Workspace (or MS Office equivalents)
