Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Podiatrist to join our team at Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust. As a Specialist High Risk Podiatrist, you will play a crucial role in providing expert care to patients with high risk feet and active ulceration.

About the Role

This is a full-time position mainly based in Crawley and Horsham, with a focus on wound care and the high risk foot. You will be responsible for providing high quality clinical care to patients, ensuring services continue to develop in line with Trust transformation programmes and the SCFT Clinical Strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical care to patients with high risk feet and active ulceration.
  • Develop key partnerships to ensure effective whole system working.
  • Contribute to the development of the Podiatry service, ensuring it functions within financial constraints.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

A professional qualification in podiatry.Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council.Significant postgraduate experience in a clinical setting.Expertise in clinical governance, risk management, and clinical audit.
