Assistant Store Manager

We're seeking a talented and motivated Assistant Store Manager to join our Vans team in Ashford Outlet, Ashford. As a key member of our management team, you'll play a vital role in driving consumer experience and contributing to the success of our store.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive sales and profitability in synergy with your Store Manager
- Motivate, mentor, and coach sales associates to deliver exceptional customer service
- Assist your Store Manager in implementing retail processes and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Stay on top of core retail operational procedures, including inventory and P&L management
- Report performance metrics and demonstrate your understanding of KPIs to improve store results
- Ensure your store looks great, adhering to Vans' visual merchandising guidelines
- Provide cover in the Store Manager's absence
- A passion for delivering a fantastic customer experience
- The ability to take initiative and lead from the front
- Experience in opening and closing a store, leading a team, and maximizing sales and productivity
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (another language is a plus)
- Proficiency in MS Office and POS systems
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as necessary
