**Job Summary**
Utility People is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Executive to join our team as an Energy Consultant. As an Energy Consultant, you will be responsible for selling energy procurement services to mid-market businesses and building strong relationships with our clients.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Generate new business sales through cold-calling, networking, and other sales strategies.
- Promote Utility People's products and services to targeted mid-market businesses.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Achieve and exceed targets across key deliverables.
- Efficiently grow a client base and corresponding revenue stream.
**Requirements:**
- Minimum of 1 year B2B sales experience within the energy industry, either from a broker or a supplier.
- Target and results-driven, with a desire to exceed targets and achieve success.
- Experience in a high-volume cold call environment is essential.
- Ability to quickly build effective relationships and gain commitment over the phone.
- Flexibility, objection handling, initiative, and ability to work under pressure.
- Self-motivated and passionate about making a difference.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication and sales skills.
- Computer literate and possess excellent organisational and administrative skills.
