SEND Primary Teacher

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Primary Teacher to join our team at The Holden School, a specialist day school for boys and girls aged 4-16 with a wide range of needs. As a SEND Primary Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering the school curriculum in a way that maximizes pupil achievement and ability to develop.
About the Role
As a SEND Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment that caters to the diverse needs of our pupils. You will work closely with the school's pastoral team, therapists, and other professionals to ensure that our pupils receive the best possible education and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver the school curriculum to pupils with a wide range of needs, using a range of teaching styles and approaches.
- Develop and implement individualized learning plans that cater to the unique needs of each pupil.
- Work closely with the pastoral team, therapists, and other professionals to ensure that our pupils receive the best possible education and support.
- Contribute to the development of the school's curriculum and policies.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to ensure that you are up-to-date with the latest teaching practices and strategies.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience of working with pupils with special educational needs (SEN) or autism spectrum condition (ASC).
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
