About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced SEND Class Teacher to join our dedicated team at The Holden School. As a SEND Class Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education to our pupils with a wide range of needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized curriculums for pupils with complex needs
  • Work collaboratively with the Class Team, Pastoral Team, and Therapists to ensure successful outcomes for pupils
  • Use a range of teaching styles to engage and motivate pupils, maximizing their achievement and ability to develop
  • Contribute to the development of a strong safeguarding culture, where pupils are listened to, respected, and involved in decision-making
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience of working in a SEN/ASC environment (desirable)
  • Excellent teaching skills, with the ability to adapt to the needs of pupils with complex needs
  • Resilience, calmness, and a commitment to helping every pupil reach their potential
