About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Audit Senior to join our Milton Keynes team at Baker Tilly International. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented professional to develop and grow their career in a dynamic and supportive environment, while gaining exposure to a diverse range of clients.

Key Responsibilities

As an Audit Senior, you will be responsible for utilizing your expertise and skills to confidently complete all sections of an audit/assignment, with minimal review, on time, on budget, and in accordance with our firm's processes.

You will have developed strong relationships with your team and clients, and will be seen as a trusted advisor. You will take ownership of your work, as well as the work allocations of the team, ensuring all sections of work are completed to a high standard. You will have a thorough understanding of our methodology and will use this to effectively challenge your manager and team members.

You will also be responsible for leveraging your relationships to identify opportunities for additional services for your clients, and will proactively discuss this with your manager/Partner.

Additionally, you will take on a leadership role in training and mentoring trainees in your department, supporting them in understanding the requirements of their role and how to be successful. You will act as a role model and support them in the completion of their work by delegating effectively, reviewing their work, and providing constructive feedback.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • ACA / ACCA Part-Qualified, or newly qualified (or equivalent)
  • Audit Experience in a practice environment
