**About the Role**

We are seeking an experienced Import Clerk to join our team at Meriden Media. As an Import Clerk, you will play a crucial role in expediting inbound movements on behalf of our clients, while delivering strategic objectives of the group.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Receive and process pre-advices and shipping documentation
* Open files and issue notices of arrival
* Issue customs clearance instructions
* Book FCL and LCL deliveries, including merchant and line haulages
* Manage day-to-day invoicing
* Follow up on purchase orders and shipments
* Communicate with overseas offices and partners
* Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

**Requirements**

* Deep sea import experience
* Excellent ICT skills, including Microsoft packages
* Good telephone manner and customer service skills
* Ability to handle pressure and good time-management
* Excellent attention to detail
