BIM Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled BIM Engineer to join our team at Calibre Search in Birmingham. As a BIM Engineer, you will play a crucial role in creating detailed BIM models for major infrastructure projects and working closely with project stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Model Coordination: Aggregate and coordinate multiple discipline-specific BIM models.
  • Clash Detection: Perform clash detection and resolution using software tools like Navisworks.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with project stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular quality checks and audits on the BIM models.
  • BEP Management: Manage and update the BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
Requirements:
  • BSc/BEng or MSc/MEng in a relevant discipline.
  • Previous Highways Engineering design experience, preferably of Local Authority major projects.
  • Good understanding of BIM Standards.
  • Previous BIM Modelling Experience.
