Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at MDE Consultants Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership, responding to breakdowns, and taking ownership of your work to meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide technical guidance and support to operations colleagues during shifts.
  2. Respond to equipment breakdowns and changeovers, working a 4 on, 4 off schedule (days and nights).
  3. Take ownership of your work, meeting deadlines with internal stakeholders and contractors.

Requirements:

  1. A hands-on engineer with a strong mechanical background, embodying our core values: Determination, Quality, Integrity, and Teamwork.
  2. A flexible team player with great ideas, enthusiasm, and the ability to thrive under pressure.
  3. A mechanically qualified, time-served technician with a systems and control focus, and knowledge of electrical control wiring diagrams.
  4. Someone eager to learn new techniques and technologies, with PLC programming and fault diagnosis experience.
  5. Experience in the food or processing industry is a bonus, but not essential.

What We Offer:

Basic earnings of £49,400 (includes flexibility payment), with overtime at 1.5x rate. Company Pension or Auto Enrolment options, Health Cash Plan benefits, holiday pay based on average hours worked, and Health & Life Assurance.
