Job Title: Sous Chef
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen brigade, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Quality & Control:
- To ensure consistency, timings, and presentation of all dishes, in line with our menu and quality standards.
- To maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Financial Management:
- To manage kitchen budgets, inventory, and supplies, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- To maintain accurate records of food costs, waste, and inventory levels.
- Team Leadership:
- To lead and motivate a team of chefs, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure excellent performance.
- To develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume restaurant or similar establishment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety, health and safety regulations, and kitchen management practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities.
