About the Role

Fleet Tutors is seeking a dedicated and passionate Maths, English, or Science Tutor to join our team of professionals. As a Tutor, you will play a vital role in supporting young learners in achieving their academic potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lesson Planning and Delivery: Create engaging and effective lesson plans to inspire and teach your learners.
  • Progress Monitoring and Feedback: Regularly monitor your learners' progress and provide constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement.
  • Collaboration with Guardians/Teachers: Work closely with your learners' guardians/teachers to ensure their academic success.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and learner performance through our virtual learning platform.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Hold a Bachelor's level degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience: Minimum 6 months UK teaching/tutoring experience.
  • Location: Must live and be eligible to work in the UK.
  • DBS Check: Must be willing to undertake a full Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and referencing process, as well as subscribing to the DBS Update Service.
  • Safeguarding: A commitment to safeguarding.
  • SEN Experience: Experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and other complex needs.
