Job Title: Head of Region UK Operations

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Operations team in Vattenfall's Business Unit Offshore Wind.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver safe, compliant, and world-class performance for operating offshore wind farms.
  • Manage a team of wind power professionals to operate and maintain our growing fleet of wind farms in the Netherlands.
  • Coach team members to achieve good performance levels and support their personal development and ambitions.
  • Ensure that the team feels connected to the BA Wind and Offshore strategy and can contribute to that strategy.
  • Manage relationships with internal stakeholders within Generations and Business Controlling, Health and Safety, Environment, Procurement, etc.
  • Coordinate activities at sites delivered by Integrated Operations, ensuring compliance with local regulations and KPIs.
  • Deliver agreed Opex budgets for direct execution costs within the region and continuously identify and implement cost improvements.
  • Senior stakeholder management, including liaison with project partners and external suppliers.
Requirements:
  • Broad experience in asset operations, with experience with wind farm operations a plus.
  • Broad interest and good business sense.
  • A coaching leadership style, with a focus on personal development.
  • Strong at building and maintaining relationships.
  • Education on a Bachelor/Master level in a technical and/or business direction.
