Offshore Engineer for Carbon Capture

We are seeking a highly skilled Offshore Structural Engineer to join our client, a leading Global Operator based in the UK. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing expert structural engineering services for various offshore projects, including carbon capture and renewable energy initiatives.

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned engineer to work on a wide range of projects, from concept to detail engineering. You will have the chance to work with a talented team of professionals and contribute to the development of innovative solutions for the offshore industry.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in offshore structure analysis and design, as well as proficiency in creating and verifying FEM models for fixed offshore structures. You will also have expertise in foundation system design, including piles and mud mats, and be skilled in re-design, brownfield assessments, life extension, and reliability analyses.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will have strong leadership skills, with experience in managing structural engineering teams and guiding tender processes. You will also be an effective communicator, able to work closely with project management and stakeholders to deliver high-quality results.

The role requires international travel, so you must be available to work on a global basis. You will also need to be proficient in a range of software tools, including DNVGL SESAM, USFOS, ANSYS, SACS, Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and AUTOCAD.
