About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Apollo Home Healthcare. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our service users, enabling them to live safely and independently in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to service users, including assistance with daily living activities, mobility, and medication administration.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each service user.
  • Conduct regular observations and assessments to ensure the service user's safety and well-being.
  • Support service users with their clinical needs, including tracheostomy care, PEG feeding, and ventilation care.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge in complex care.
Requirements
  • 3 months previous experience in supporting children in a healthcare setting.
  • Personal care experience, including moving and handling, medication administration, and clinical care.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
