### Job Title: BSL Teaching Assistant

### Job Summary:

Tradewind is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant with a specialization in British Sign Language (BSL) to join a primary school in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with children with learning difficulties and a qualification in BSL.

### Key Responsibilities:

* Provide one-to-one support to students with hearing impairments
* Collaborate with teachers to create a safe and nurturing learning environment
* Assist in developing alternative learning methods for students
* Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and staff

### Qualifications and Skills:

* Previous experience working with children with hearing impairments
* At least a Level 3 qualification in BSL
* Ability to differentiate and provide alternative learning methods
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
