Role Overview
The Lead HVAC Technician will be instrumental in maintaining the efficiency of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across the Sewell Group's facilities. This position encompasses both scheduled and emergency maintenance duties, including the repair and servicing of split systems, VRF/VRV units, chillers, and refrigerated storage solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform both reactive and scheduled maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration systems.
- Address urgent maintenance requests from the Customer Care Team, ensuring all properties are upheld to the highest standards.
- Manage and coordinate external contractors as necessary to fulfill operational requirements.
- Detect, document, and rectify faults, ensuring compliance with maintenance standards.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations consistently to maintain a compliant property portfolio.
Requirements

Essential:
- Valid UK driving license
- Recognized qualifications, such as Level 2 & 3 NVQ in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
- F-Gas certification

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Proactive mindset towards maintenance tasks
- Strong communication skills for contractor interactions
- Excellent organizational abilities with task prioritization
- Commitment to continuous learning and development
- Flexible approach to working hours
- Thorough understanding of current health and safety practices
Desirable:
- First aid certification
- Familiarity with building management systems (BMS)
- Experience in plumbing and heating systems
- 18th edition electrical certification and experience
