Sanctuary Supported Living is pleased to announce an opening for a General Assistant in our Cleaning Services at our Retirement Communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing general cleaning tasks as assigned, ensuring all communal areas, offices, and kitchens are kept clean and tidy.
  • Completing cleaning duties to a high standard to maintain a pleasant environment.
  • Identifying and reporting any potential hazards or faults to uphold safety standards.
  • Managing stock levels and restocking supplies as necessary, ensuring equipment is utilized according to guidelines.
  • Assisting in meal and beverage preparation while adhering to food hygiene regulations and meeting customer needs.
  • Respecting and maintaining the privacy and dignity of all customers.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Desirable experience in general cleaning tasks.
  • Previous work experience in a domestic or catering setting.
  • Willingness to pursue a Level 2 diploma in housekeeping or catering.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.
  • Basic understanding of health and safety protocols in the workplace.
