Position Overview

Educational Support Assistant needed for a dynamic educational environment

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual who can enhance the engagement and motivation of students aged 11-15. This role involves joining a supportive educational community where you will provide specialized assistance to students diagnosed with various learning needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full-time position, Monday to Friday, with standard working hours
  • Competitive salary based on term-time only
  • Collaborating closely with students facing challenges such as ASC, ADHD, and Global Development Delay
  • Delivering personalized support both inside and outside the classroom
  • Encouraging students to stay focused and engaged during lessons
  • Managing challenging behaviors with composure and professionalism

Candidate Requirements

  • 1st Class or 2:1 degree in a relevant field
  • Strong academic performance at A-Level and GCSE
  • Experience working with children in the 11-15 age range, particularly those with special educational needs, is preferred
  • Applications from individuals aspiring to become Secondary Teachers are welcomed
  • Must possess a confident, proactive, and enthusiastic approach
  • A sense of humor, patience, and resilience to navigate challenging situations effectively
