Job Overview:

Quest Employment, in collaboration with a client located in March, is seeking skilled Reach, Counterbalance, and PPT Fork Lift operators for a temperature-controlled warehouse and logistics operation. We are looking for dedicated individuals who are motivated, detail-oriented, and adaptable. The available shift pattern is Monday to Friday, from 19:00 to 03:30.

Compensation:

  • Starting from £12.33 per hour to £13.38 per hour based on the number of licenses held, plus an additional £1.32 per hour for night shifts.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Valid RTITB or ITSSAR licenses for Reach, Counterbalance, and/or PPT forklifts
  • Ability to lift and transport items weighing up to 15kg
  • Physical capability to perform lifting, bending, reaching, crouching, and stretching
  • Experience in pushing and pulling pallets with pump trucks
  • General warehouse responsibilities
  • Manual dexterity in both hands and wrists
  • Teamwork skills
  • Personal transportation is essential

Responsibilities:

  • Working in the chilled section of the warehouse
  • Loading and unloading shipments
  • Rotating, picking, and storing inventory
  • Preparing orders for dispatch to retail locations and customers
  • General warehouse maintenance and cleanliness
